Wisdom Teeth Question 2012

I have searched the forum (because it's annoying when people don't) but can safely say that I am not quite sure of the answer to my question so here goes:
DS was told at Christmas by dentist that he should have his Wisdom teeth out and it can wait until summer. He is AFROTC and will be coming home for summer. He is a Freshman who starts a 3-yr Type 2 AFROTC scholarship in the fall ( I don't know if that matters but what the hey).

Question: What does he need to do w/ respect to the AF DET/Dodmerb/whatever. Would he notify said parties before and or after the extraction? Is there a risk for losing his Dodmerb Q status due to wisdom teeth extraction? Any info would be appreciated. :confused:
 
I knew you didn't want to divert another thread and waited to you posted over here.

He needs to inform his Det of the extraction, forward the records. It will go into his file. That is it. There is no waiver issue.

The only issue is timing the surgery correctly, but since he is a C100, SFT is not a factor.
