Would accepting Navy effect Army?

I've recently been awarded a NROTC scholarship to a school out of my top 5 schools, so I accepted it only so I could put in a transfer and be put on the waiting list to my original schools. Now, I've also applied to AROTC, and like many, I have not heard anything from them yet, but if they offer me my first choice college, I would accept that over the NROTC. Now my question is (it just hit me) is that would accepting the Navy scholarship have any effect over if I'm offered an Army one? In other words, do they talk and if the Army found out I accepted Navy, would they not offer me a scholarship with them?

Not A Concern - Yet

No, you really don't need to be concerned yet. My DS, along with several of his classmates accepted his NROTC and Army ROTC full scholarships. However, as soon as he made up his mind for NAPS he promptly contacted both NROTC and Army to release his scholarships for others.

The services know that basically the same "pool" is applying for SA's and ROTC. As it gets closer to May 1 - you may feel more pressure. But, if you have been following this forum. Some students were on the waiting list for a SA or Prep School, got that at the last minute and went, leaving their ROTC scholarship (and some who got a TWE went on to their ROTC School and Scholarship).
