March and April WP Admissions events are now posted in the USMA sticky section for the SE, NE, and FW regions.

NY27

Are there ever admissions events in Western NY state? NY27 specifically? Thanks!

CA Events?

Also wondering about any events for the CA families? Any news?

I'll update as events are scheduled, but the best way is for you to reach out to your FFR and ask them to keep you informed of any events.

There are a couple scheduled in CA on that list.
CA is in the FW Region.

Pretty much every event this spring that one of the RCs will go has to be requested by a member of congress or they have to pay their own way. Not much of an option for the further trips - but at this point, even for close events they'd have to be in free venues. This is the time to reach out to your FFR to get their detailed guidance in the absence of being able to hear/speak directly to your RC.

Can anyone tell me if a student from CT can attend another state's event given the fact that the state of CT does not seem to have any events upcoming?

Yes - you can go to events that are not in your district or state.
These are information gathering events and not area specific.
You might be able to meet one of your MOCs if they are hosting the event but you can still go to that event if they are not your MOC.

Or you could just drive to West Point for the day tour since you are so close. You'll get the same information plus the time with a cadet.

Thanks so much . DS registered for a day visit.. going in April... although we have been many times for various sporting events and the visitors tour. This time he will be able to see it through a cadet's eyes.

Depends on the region and sometimes the local tradition. Each is a little different, but you an pretty much count on a presentation about what West Point is like, and how to make the most of your application. All that is usually followed by Q & A. Some will include a Cadet presenter, or ROTC as well, sometimes there are personal interviews, some are CFA events as well. All depends, but they are important to go to as that is your chance to meet and make an impression on the Field Force and Admissions Officers.

Okay, I've already been accepted into the class of 2017 so I guess this does not apply to me. Thank you for your response.
