Any reccomendations for watches? I was looking into G-Shock and Luminox but no specific models yet.
I guess a watch for uniform use?

Hmmm...

Well, for the bar on Friday nights when drinking copious amounts of beverages, being a "really cool fighter guy..." I have the Rolex. Can't look cool without the mandatory waving of hands, maneuvering them around, and "shooting down the Rolex." :thumb:

For other days of being "cool" there's the USAFA Tag Heuer. Very nice. :shake:

And of course, the use it every day, on every deployment, because it is OUTSTANDING in all aspects?

My ECO Hawk by Citizen with something like 26 timezones and a built in whiz wheel!

If you search these forums, "which watch?" has been addressed.

Think inexpensive, reliable, durable and waterproof--Timex Ironman is a popular choice, and what my cadet wears every day.

Yep, a bit of silly pilot humor there!

Ironman watches seem to be both indestructible and not expensive! I know both my siblings (mountain bikers, climbers, etc...etc...) will wear nothing else!

Bullet always had the ironman for flying. I think one time he did do the G-shock, but overall it has always been the Timex. For the mess dress, then his has a honking big silver TAG.

I'm no hotshot, but Timex Expeditions are great watches--$40 and they have multiple time zones, alarms, and stopwatch settings. They last pretty well.
