I should have double checked before I sent in my summer seminar applications, but just yesterday I found out that I lived in a different district than I thought I did. I wonder how many people usually make this mistake :/
I had always been told that I lived in the 47th district of California, when in fact I actually live in the 40th, but very very close to the 47th. I was looking at the district map of 47th, when I realized that my house was just outside of the shaded area. So I did a double check and it turns out I don't live in the 47th district. Today I realized that I put 47th as my district on both my AFA SS application and Navy SS application. I just updated my app. for AFA, and I plan to call Navy's admissions office either tomorrow morning or Monday morning to correct my mistake.
How much of a deal is it that I had the wrong district on my application for a while? Did I cause any problems with the admissions offices?
