So, I went to MEPS this past April, and I failed the hearing test. I have had surgeries on my ears because I had too many tubes put in and they left holes, the surgeon then did another surgery and put a patch over the holes. The branch of service I went for, Air Force, had applied for a hearing waiver. It was denied. I went to a certified ENT, Ears, Nose, and Throat Doctor, and he reviewed my MEPS results and he said they were unproportional. He conducted a hearing test on me and I passed perfectly. I went to the Navy for one final try and it got all the way up to the last person I needed to have approve so I can could take another hearing test with a professional at MEPS. It was denied this week. Is there anything I can do to try to reverse this disqualification? Sorry for the novel.

You're talking about MEPS, are you trying to enlist?

ROTC goes through DODMERB.

Yes, I'm trying to enlist, I couldn't find anyone to talk to about this. This is the only place I could find that was similar.
