Wyoming Thudgate?

I was wondering if there were plans for a "Thudgate North" this weekend? Are many cadets planning to make the trip up for the game? Any parents (ChristCorp, you're gonna be there, right?)?

I really enjoyed meeting the folks at the game on Parents Weekend!
 
Glad you asked. Will I be there???? Is the Pope Jewish??? Of course I'll be there. As for thudgate, that's usually difficult on the away games. However, the Wyoming Academy Parent's Association will be having a large tailgate. They do it every year for the Air Force vs Wyoming game. Lots of food. So it won't be thudgate, but it will be good.

For those interested; next weekend October 2nd; is Air Force vs Navy @ the academy. Thudagate will be in FULL FORCE. Air Force hasn't won the Navy game in 7 years. This is our year, and if you can make it, it will probably be the game of the Century. (Or at least the game of the year). See you all there hopefully. Mike....
 
Really looking forward to the game next week. I hope to find time to swing by Thudgate and meet Christcorp. We spent most of pregame at PW at squadron tail gate. We are flying back on friday and attending the Air Force rugby match vs. navy on fri evening in Denver. Hoping that starts a weekend of AF over Navy!!! GOOOOOOO Air Force!!!!!!!!!!
 
That Navy game should be a real wild ride this year. And, by all indications, this should be the year AF breaks the spell and wins that dang trophy!

ChristCorp, I'd be there if I could! Have a great time and cheer on the Steelers while you're at it! :) No sense wasting a good tail gate after all!

Hi Christcorp, I am taking my son's grandparents out to the Air Force Navy game which is their first time to USAFA. I haven't been to Thudgate yet, but I'd like to stop by. Sounds like a lot of fun...I've seen other messages describing it. It's also our son's birthday so it will be great being out there. We are leaving Thursday early AM.

Don't count on it guys. Navy is better than their record/scores indcicate. The only reason they are what they are is to lull you guys into comlacency. I agree though, it will be a great game. Wish I could be there.
 
Pssssst! Air Force is better than their record indicates too! Homefield advantage...this is the year. :shake:

If you're fortunate enough to be in CO for the game, I highly recommend visiting Thudgate. I stopped by with my dad during Parents Weekend, and we were both welcomed and felt right at home. You wll be hard pressed to find a better group of people. (I should have worn my sunglasses during the toast, because my allergies flared up something aweful!)

What the heck channel is "The Mnt?" This stinks. Obviously, I have to move 'cause this game is not on my tv line up.

Thank goodness I NEVER MISS A STEELERS GAME! :shake::thumb:

Can someone post a half-time update? How about some nice video?
 
I’ve only managed to see one game on TV. :thumbdown: and it was when they lost! :frown: Hopefully I will be able to find USAFA vs USNA on TV. If not they have a play by play feature on the USAFA football site. its not as good as seeing it, at least you know what is happening live!
