My son shared with me yesterday that he received a text with the "You've been nominated" showing and didn't open it as he felt it was spam. He recently sent in his applications for noms and knew that was not how he would be notified.
At football today, it was announced that he was nominated for Player of the Week for our state in football based on his game last Friday. Only service academy people would understand the irony as now he is behind in votes. Ha!
