I would check back this afternoon...just a guess, but it seems most updates from Cadet Command have been after 3 pm ET. Again, just a educated guess...good luck!!
Thank you!

Nothing for us yet either
I noticed that the University of New Haven was not listed as the home of an AROTC battalion.
nothing here either....Jan. is sure a long way away being in limbo..might do plan b and accept other scholarships
try waiting until mid April then waiting until early May for a decision if a transfer of scholarship from the assigned school to another school is requested.Jan. is sure a long way away being in limbo..
Another poster previously said the offer list, once posted, will not change...but that hasn't stopped me from re-checking it hourly! The fact that your and my son both had curious offer patterns will probably keep me looking until the coveted letter arrives.First of all, thanks to all who contribute regularly to this site. I have been lurking here for a while as my son has worked his way through the process of applying to USMA and to AROTC.
Our son checked the AROTC status web page last night and we were delighted to see that he has been awarded a scholarship to one of the six schools on his list. The question we have is: Should we expect other schools to be added to the web page & the official letter (which we have not received yet) in the coming days? Or is it likely that he will have just the single option?
He was offered at a very good private university, and we are a little surprised that his award list doesn't (yet) include, for example, some public schools that were higher on his list and which should be a little easier to get admitted into.
Any insight is most appreciated.
I think Cadet Command, which is in Kentucky (Eastern time zone) would likely be inputting updates through their day, ending at 1600 or 1700, thereabouts. That assumes they are not finished, which I don't think they would be unless they hired a bunch more bodies to input than they used last year.
OCDomer: you are in a fantastic position (assuming Choice #5 is much more expensive than the publics higher on awardee's list) in that if your awardee doesn't end up being admitted into Expensive Private Choice #5 to which the scholarship is assigned, it shouldn't be too much issue to accept the Award now (what do you have, 30 days?, and then petition Cadet Command to have it reassigned to an Inexpensive Public to which the awardee is in fact admitted. The awardee ends up better matched to the rank ordering, and Cadet Command gets to free up budget for another applicant with an Expensive Private at the top of the list for Board #2 or #3.It has been very frustrating, as there is so much mystery in the process. It seems there should be more transparency about how the boards work and how the decisions are made as to what schools will be awarded. What roles do the school ROTC programs play? Does it matter at all how you rank your list of schools? To be offered the #5 school on our list (a smaller private school) over two big public schools that are easier to get into and higher on our list was just a surprise.
As the suspense grinds on, 89Bison's posts devolve from thoughtful essays into edgy stream-of-consciousness utterances...paired with a tendency to quote his own words while referring to himself in the third person. What's the over/under on when the letters start hitting mailboxes? I hope they mail them in chunks as they hit the system, versus one big batch at the end.
Still no schools on my son's status page....anyone else have the scholarship notification without school information?
I know it's not a big deal in the whole scheme of things but he and I are eager to know...
I'm doing the waiting thing. Status changed on Friday afternoon. My first early action deadline (for probably the most selective school on my list) is tomorrow. Trying not to get trigger happy and hit the submit button.
