Praying in NC for you all

I've been stalking in on this thread and also anxious to see the outcome.
I'm crossing my fingers and toes and praying for good news for you ALL. :shake:

Woke up at 5am this morning, which for me is very unusual. I am not a morning person. Could not go back to sleep.

But, my brain is in overdrive. Thinking, hoping, praying, wishing...
Ha ha! don't know if I will get any sleep at all this week!

I'm so glad my parents haven't found this thing. They freak out every time I call/text them.

Awww, do they send you goodies too? I send care packages to my son, with plenty to share with everyone at work.

Haha they do indeed. They're not the only ones. Girls I knew back in high school constantly send brownies just so they can have their own Dear John experience. Thank you Nicholas Sparks..

Okay, that's hilarious!!

My son broke up with his gf last week. So, he only has me to depend on for now...

Although, there were those pictures of him on fb, with some cute girl he works with. Oh, but they're "just friends."

Well, I didn't really expect anything today anyways.

Hahaha you sound like my mom. Every time I'm doing anything with a girl it's automatic that my mom will think it's my girlfriend.

Even my friend's moms have sent me stuff in the past. It's crazy how much people support the military.

I'm pretty active with fellow AF mom's and my Blue Star Moms' group. I have sent a lot of packages to AD here, and deployed. My fellow moms have as well.
We do a lot of welcome home celebrations as well. I couldn't be more proud of our military, or the moms and others, that support them!

We do support our military!!! As it should be!!

Oh, and if you are in a fb picture, with a girl, we are all over it!:shake:

I once had a facebook pictureof my friend and I at tech school having a yard sale right before we were PCS'ing to our duty stations...and some girl asked how much for me...my mom commented "not for sale" she's not really helping my case at all.

Ps. I probably shouldn't have openly admitted to soliciting on an AF base

I commented on the picture of my son, and this girl, "My baby boy is so cute! Oh, can I say cute on your fb page?"

I knew exactly what I was doing...

On a whim I did a search for "usafa" on twitter. One Kurtis Ley from Ohio was accepted to the Prep School. His picture shows two stripes on his arm.
