No EA for me either.
any word about your DS, ERAU?
NO EA for my Matt....
The crazy thing is that he was so upbeat when he called to tell me that I thought that he was teasing me...
He was asked if he wanted to return as a 500. He is considering the option especially since he is on a 4 1/2 - 5 yr plan....
However my DS is not on a AFROTC scholarship and his plan B is so much more secure to his future as well as the purse strings.
At $15,000/semester ....tuition at ERAU, even with some scholarship money can accumulate debt rather quickly.
He is considering all his options before his meeting Friday with his CoC...
While an officer in the AF was his first choice....he was not looking for a pilot slot....His plan B still results in becoming an officer in the US Military...
I believe that another poster here said it best....
It's best to look at NOT getting an EA as a door closing......BUT look at it as a bunch of other doors opening....
It's obvious to me that is exactly what my DS is doing....By not getting an EA ...the number of options that he now has available to him.
I honestly believe that while this heart wanted an EA......his head probably was telling him that in his situation....not getting one was not such a bad thing...
GOOD LUCK and BEST WISHES to ALL..
Don't forget your sunblock at Max......
