I'm planning on wearing mine too...worst comes to worst, you can take them off and put them back on in the bathroom after security. But I'm pretty sure that they really shouldn't be a problem. I'm more worried about losing them if they come off!!
Does anyone know if people have encountered problems wearing shirt stays while at the airport? I was planning on wearing mine but I am worried the metal clips would set off a metal detector and cause me trouble.

You can easily lose 2-3 pounds in a week. Why wouldn't you?
That's what I am currently trying to do. I just wanted to know how common it is for people to be sent home because of it, especially if they are in good shape and have an acceptable body fat percentage.
Cadet (Last Name, First Name MI)
FTU ___ (1, 2, etc.), FLT (A,B etc)
501 Lemay Place N.
Maxwell AFB, AL 36112
From the 2014 Field Training Manual
How do we know which FTU and FLT is theirs?
FTU is which Field Training Unit you are at. Max 1 and 2 were FTU-1 and Max 3, 4, and 5 are FTU-2.
Can you confirm where you got this from? I thought FTU was 1 for Max 1, 2 for Max 2...etc.
Congrats to the cadets from Max 1 & 2 on making it through, good luck to the cadets heading out for 4 & 5, and my condolences to the cadets currently there in Max 3.
Just dropped DS off at the airport for Max 4. It was the first time I saw him in uniform (so proud) and I found out you're not supposed to hug in uniform
