This question/topic may be a bit "taboo" since most of us do not have much, if any, insight into the inner workings of USNA's admissions counsel. But it's worth a shot!
So, I know another student from my high school in my grade who is also applying to USNA. We are in the same Congressional District. Is it a high possibility that both of us can get an appointment? He has better stats in some areas of the application while I have better stats in other areas. I know I'll need a medical waiver for nearsightedness but not sure about him. He is a white male, and I am an Asian female. How possible is it for both of us to get appointments? Our high school class has ~480 kids, and someone from each class has gone to USNA the last two years (one was a recruited athlete).
