So I was just given a ticket for going five over in a 60mph zone and along with being a little frustrated by the way the officer was acting, I am worried about how the academy will see it. I informed my admissions counselor and have immediately paid the fine. What sort of consequences can this...
You will get into NAPS or a Foundation School if you are deemed physically or academically less qualified than others, or you are a top notch candidate without a nom. NAPS (to the best of my knowledge) is usually reserved for recruited athletes and enlisted personnel.
Just a final confirmation! I have in-house call tomorrow evening, and when I wake up and do my morning rounds on Thursday my CO will come to morning report and present the paperwork and everything with my department. I will be at NAPS this summer!

Today I was told by a Personnel Specialist Second Class that he received a BFE for me with paperwork due by May 1st. He told me I was accepted and that my Director would be contacting me. For those of you who received BFEs, does this sound like the real deal or is he pulling my leg?
I finished everything up in November, notified of character board pass-through without deductions, and I have been to the admissions board. I was told by ETCS Maxwell that I should hear back within two weeks. Expecting NAPS with my scores and such.
