One suggestion for I-day. HOPEFULLY; EVERYTHING that you had to mail or fax to the academy during your application process, you made a copy of. FWIW; I told my son that when it comes to the military, documentation is EVERYTHING. He brought a folder with him that had his copy of EVERYTHING he had to fill out and send. Especially shot records/immunization. He thought I was being an overprotective and anal retentive dad. But on his 1st postcard home, he thanked me. There were 3 different things that they couldn't find or didn't have their copy of for him. 1 was the immunization. He said; "No problem"; here's a copy". Life went so much smoother in-processing. One of the cadets next to him they also didn't have his immunization record. Of course for him, the academy ALSO said; "No problem, ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVES". My son smiled. Same with some other paper work. So, my suggestion is to have a copy of EVERYTHING. Then make a 2nd copy. Leave a copy of EVERYTHING at home; and take a copy of EVERYTHING with you. It's not that much paperwork, and it can possibly save you a lot of headaches. Just one of a million things I learned spending 21 years in the Air Force. Good luck. Mike.....
