2013 Appointments

Ya that's what my brother said...i really want to go to the academy tho.

ASU USC and USAFA were the only 3 places i applied...i guess i just had my hopes to high haha
 
I was really pulling for you James! But definitely re-apply for next year.

all it said was that unfortunately they wouldn't be able to offer me an appointment this year and that my application was reviewed in-depth.

Yeah isnt ASU one of the top party schools in the US? Have fun trying to get away from that.

Ya ASU is a pretty big party school... but the honors college is really good try and get in there if at all possible.
 
From someone who lives in Tempe, AZ on the ASU campus: YES! It is a party school and the nights I've lost sleep can attest to it, but Barrett (honors college) is an amazing program and most of my honors classmates in high school are going there because it is that awesome. It's a great program to get into in my opinion and they just built brand new dorms for the college too so the new class gets nice new dorms that look halfway decent.

However, ASU and Barrett has nothing on AFA. I'm content. :D
 
trust me I know..afa is waaayy better.

I got into the engineering school- aerospace engineering
They have a AFROTC too.

I am teacher in AZ and ASU is a great school (although I went to UofA) :shake:

The programs at ASU are excellent and as a few have posted the Barrett Honors College is outstanding. While I am sure you are disappointed I truly believe that all things happen for a reason while we may not know what the reason is at the time.

You will realize your dreams and I know I have said it before......when one door closes another opens.
