Maybe, sometimes we fly out of Manchester because its cheaper then portland. Ive got to worry about getting in first though! what session did you attend Summer Seminar? I went to A, I only remember meeting one person from New Hampshire or Maine.

I had to take it three times actually. My ALO told me that was more than he's ever heard of the Academy giving. I was so surprised to get accepted since I've never played a sport before in high school.

That's a little reassuring to hear. I never did a sport either. I have a few physical activities on the resume, since I backpack a lot and play Quidditch for fun on a club team.
You're probably really smart though if they gave you a third shot :biggrin:

I also never played a sport in HS, but I had my reasons. Growing up here in the South, I had to help work on our farm most days of the week, and I had to choose either studying for good grades or sports.

FINALLY! My son got the call today from his Senator telling him he got the appt. He is walking on air--thank goodness his homework was done because he wouldn't be able to focus on it today!! The adventure begins!

Nothing wrong with that! You will have such an advantage: maturity, experience and sown wild oats. Great opp for you to show up as a leader and a role model. Use it! And congrats to you!!! Meanwhile, stalker behavior continues on my part here in Virginia. Son? Camping trip this weekend.....did not even call on Saturday afternoon to ask about the mail. Thanks! I was told with being prior enlisted, they are going to have me leading the people right out of high school from day one. Should be a great experience. At least all you guys have summer break before you go away to school. I'm here in DC and everyone I know is back in Chicago. I have to work until I go. It couldn't come sooner! xD
