2020 Appointments

I didnt get the email, but MOC just called to congratulate me on the appointment, and how he was surprised that i got in this early since they only uploaded nomination 1/19

Anybody in the same situation as @RT10 and I? Both of us has conditional LOA showing earlier, but now back to "Complete Pending Review" I however received a call from MOC's office confirming acceptance to class of 2020, and that BFE would come some time in the next week

I had that last week, it changed to appointed
 
On the day of arrival, is it scanned and displayed on the notification email from USPS RealMailNotification?
 
We preregistered with USPS through a general invitation we received over 6 months or so ago or so before the service started up. You may be able to look up the instructions on their website. Basically the daily incoming mail items are scanned (if not too bulky or large) and a USPS email is sent to your registered email address to notify what's coming to your mailbox.
 
Awesome, just checked it out on website and signed up, don't think they can tell if it's a TWE or BFE? Have to wait and see! Thanks and go Navy!

First congrats on the appointment.
Second, you have no idea who the Academy will charge your appointment. Please don not burst the bubble of others who may have a nomination from the Senator also. Just because Portman called does not mean that your appointment will be charged to him.

He didn't say anything about appointment being charged to Portman. All he said was Portman called him. I don't think he was trying to "burst someone's bubble". Congratulations on the appointment.

It's actually BFE=Big Fat Envelope (no color implied) and TWE=Thin White Envelope...and that one is 100% a white envelope...I unfortunately saw one firsthand last April!
