DD just logged into her USNA portal and has received a nomination from Florida District 13.

Congrats! The nomination source in my portal said VA District 11, so i assumed it was from Connolly's office, but I'm not sure. I still have not received a email or call to confirm yet.

She hasn’t received anything from the MOC office. Reading through so many posts, it seems like they don’t have to send correspondence; all that matters is what is in the portal. We are new to all of this, though, so who knows?

Senator Brown should be sending his soon then too since they work together to determine their lists.

DS just received a nomination from Max Miller OH-D7. I got the phone call, and he left a message congratulating me on my son's nomination, but my son hadn't even heard anything yet.

I should have mentioned this was for USAFA.

Senator Brown should be sending his soon then too since they work together to determine their lists.

I wonder if they also work with the reps too as my DS was notified over a month ago and they only posted today and yesterday to his portal. Wonder if they try not to duplicate when kids have LOAs and other nomination sources?

DS has been told in interviews with Ohio's senators that they do work with Ohio's reps to avoid duplication, but I'm not sure this is a set-in-stone rule.

Haven’t heard anything re: senators yet. I believe I’ve seen that, traditionally, Warner’s come out before Xmas. I think Kaine’s usually come out early Jan. I know VA-11 noms have started trickling out via the portal, but these seem to just be for USNA (so far).

Thanks for the reply. My DS told me the noms from Warner came out last 19 Dec 2022. Hopefully it will come out soon. Will they be posting it somewhere? I heard SA portals sometimes don't get updated right away.

It sounds like sometimes the portal updates first, sometimes letters are received first.

My DD received a call from Warner’s office today with a USNA nom. Her friend was called about his USAFA nom from Warner today, also. Neither has the nom listed in the SA portal yet.

My DS just received noms to USAFA, USMA, and USNA from Illinois District 12/ Mike Bost! We are very thankful and will celebrate this win through the holidays!

My DS got a phone call last night from Congresswoman Scanlon (PA) with a nomination to USNA. We could not be more thrilled. Best of luck to everyone!
