Daughter #2 was fortunate enough to receive an LOA on Oct 15. She just received an email from her Senator informing her of a nomination. She has an interview with her Representative tomorrow. It's by phone since we are overseas. Should she decline the interview with the Rep since she has the nom and LOA? Any risk to that? The Senator nom of course isn't on the USAFA application portal yet. Want someone else to get the opportunity, but the first nom isn't exactly signed, sealed, delivered yet. Thoughts from those more experienced...? Thanks.

Always try for every available nomination. Let the MOCs decide who gets them.

DD has NOM's from her Congressman, but will continue with her Senator interview tomorrow. The more NOM's you have the more flexibility you give the SA, which in the end would better serve you.

Unless she actually has an "Appointment" in her hands, always assume the worst and go for every nomination you can get. Had she already received an appointment, in hand, say from a Presidential last month, then she'd be ok not seeking additional nominations. But until an actual appointment is in hand, keep pressing as if there were no LOA or other indicator.
