I have 3 nominations, Senate, Local, and JROTC. SAT 1280. 4.9 weighted, 3.86 non waited, was top 10% but class count dropped, so now at 60 of 564. Earned PPL from ROTC Airforce scholarship. Top leadership (Commander) in JROTC, President NHS, almost Eagle Scout, Gold Star in PfT, jv football, rec soccer along with track and field. I haven't heard anything from Air Force, prep or direct. By now, I have already started my plan B prep but not accepted which is Army ROTC to a 4 year. I really want to go Air Force, however, starting to think my chances have expired.

Same stats, BC equivalent of my afjrotc, 1230 sat, etc etc. Absolutely zero word on even my medical going through for usafa.

My DS medical went through last week after many emails with team silver. Are you in waiver status? He was not. He was medically qualified from day 1 but there was an issue getting it from dodmerb to USAFA that was literally just resolved last week.

You should always have Plan B in the works, no matter what. Meanwhile, there's little need to worry, because the SAs say the bulk of notifications come before mid-April. In other words, no news is good news.

No reason to post your stats, because no one here can "chance you." You've done all you can at this point, so patience and Plan B are key.

No, I had a fully qualified medical from the get-go. I was cleared on 9/12 of last year, and I haven't had an issues with DoDMERB since.

Sounds good, thank you. My ALO said the bulk would come out in March and not having received word had me nervous. But if most come out before mid April then that gives me a little more hope. Thanks.

So do you mean you don’t have the green check mark in your portal with USAFA yet. If not you need to reach out to team silver. This was the case for my son and it had not posted as cleared to USAFA from dodmerb bc dodmerb had a number off on his ss# different than USAFA. Once that was discovered and resolved it was there and USAFA could see he was qualified.

DoDMERB was fully checked green from day one. I haven't gotten an appointment yet or denial

There is so much more that just goes into the basic stats, I mean for starters they like to look at the impact you had in each of those extracurriculars, all depends how you wrote it up regarding those. Interview plays a good part and essays are a factor also. GPA is looked at by the academy based on your class rigor, not just the raw number. Although, your SAT could be the weaker point of your app. But it really all depends.
