For anyone who is interested, a 5k is planned for Friday, 24 April, at USCG Yard Curtis Bay in Baltimore, to honor the memory of DC3 Nate Bruckenthal. Petty Officer Bruckenthal was killed in action 4/24/04, the first Coast Guardsman since the Vietnam War to be KIA.
Proceeds will go to Nate's Pantry to aid coastguardsmen and their families in need.
