This kid had just about given up. The coach that had so heavily recruited her had gone quiet. The deferral letter arrived. No interview despite asking for months and repeatedly following up.
She's spent the last few months researching Environmental Engineering programs and applying like crazy. College coaches that she had put off have been back chatting with her and repeating offers she wasn't so interested in in the Fall and NOW tonight as she received a call asking her if she is available for an interview.
Not sure if she should be encouraged by it, or if it is just a task to be completed after all this time.
Any insight?
