Hi ! We are happy and thankful our DS was awarded Tier 1 NROTC scholarship on Tuesday . He’ll be mech E at Auburn University in the Fall . It was a LONG wait . Has anyone who’s received acceptance emails not received the CMGO email ? Is there a lag time ? Another glitch maybe ? Just want to get everything started asap . Thx in advance for any advice !

What email from CMGO are you looking for after accepting the scholarship? If it is about NSI or DoDMERB, then it will likely take a few more days as he was just awarded two days ago. The NSI packet info is available on their website. Googling NROTC NSI will get you started. DoDMERB starts with DoDMETS, so look for a email from them. Make sure to check spam.
It was a couple weeks after he received his winner email that he received the NSI info package email and I don’t recall ever seeing an email from dodmerb. Unless it was in DS’s spam but I asked him several times to check and he didn’t see anything. He went to dodmets and created his account which gets the process started for the physical and such. I would recommend doing that asap as you will have to schedule those appointments.
