Accepted Per Grade

I'm still in 8th grade, but my friend told me that he might want to go the the academy after high school when I told him that I do. It kind of got me motivated to try to outwork him, but I was wondering.. Would the academy accept more than one person at the same school? I think it's probably unlikely for me because my class size is about 120 and I live in a small town in Maine. But last year my brothers friend got accepted.

Yes, it's possible, but do yourself a favor and be better than your competition!

If you're only in 8th grade, there's a good chance that the person you are referring to will change their mind about applying. There is a lot of time between now and March 1st of your junior year. Work hard, but don't constantly live in the future or you'll miss all of the fun you can have now and the future will be rather disappointing once you get there.

Yes my son and one of his classmates arein the same class at USAFA. They were in a class 0f 104.
