Mammamia. I truly feel for your son. He seems like a young man who gave it all! And truly deserve a chance to be a Mid at Annapolis.
Times like this we think about what if we did things differently and little more here. I think if he had higher ACT ENG and Math and even an Eagle Scout, he may had a better chance for a Nomination. If he took JROTC, that could have been his ticket for Nom. Could have no guarantees.
In such a competitive district as yours, a combined ACT Eng and Math of 35 is probably what he needed. Even though USNA avg maybe 29-30 nationally.
If he has NROTC Option he can do that and commission or reapply next year via NROTC Nom and another shot at his Congressional Nom. Best wishes to your son and your family.
