Hi! I recently accepted my appointment to USMA class of 2028. I am extremely grateful and excited for this opportunity. I am wondering if there is a groupchat of admitted/accepted students that I can join? Thank you!!!

Congratulations! Have you added yourself to the admitted list in the other thread? What state are you from?

Congratulations! Can you share when you were notified that you were fully qualified and when you were notified of appointment?

My congressman called me on February 1st, I accepted February 2nd. I was fully qualified December 5th 2023. Do I need to send a picture for verification?

Send me a PM...if you don't know how, I'll send you one. Congrats!!!!!

Not at all, just curious. My son just found out he was fully qualified. Just trying to get a possible timeline. Thanks and congrats!

I really think the timeline is too varied and too subjective to be helpful. For example, my DS completed his application in August, received his nomination in early November, received his "3Q" letter in mid-November, and received his appointment today (February 16). Some had much shorter periods, some longer.

Not sure there are many as glued to this forum and as OCD about the process as me (actually, I am sure there are many like me). But, I think the advice given by many that you just need to let the process play out is sage. Work on Plan B. Work out. Enjoy senior year. Have (reasonable) fun.

I definitely agree, I applied three times (was accepted my third try!). The first time I was 3Q in March and heard back in April. The second time I was 3Q in January and heard back in June, and this time I was 3Q in early December and heard back late January. The point being, there is no way to know when you may know. You just have to wait. And it sucks... trust me, I did it three times! but it was all worth it. Best of luck to your son!
