AFROTC on-line Application Tracker

Today is the first day that the AFROTC application tracker is on-line. Although all items have been submitted some time ago, my son's application reflects that they have not received any of the items. Has anyone else checked today? If so, is your status the same?

Same issues with my son. I'm sure that they will have it updated within a few days or so. Considering the first AFROTC board supposedly isn't until December, I'm willing to give them a week or two to get caught up.

Looking at the AFROTC online app...they require no essay? Have played with it without submitting but does not appear to be a screen to submit any essays.

Look at item #2 on the Application checklist. From the Personal Statement form:

"Personal Statement for Air Force ROTC
On-Line College Scholarship Application

DIRECTIONS: Print out this form and write your answers briefly in your own handwriting using ink, (please write legibly on this form). Please note typed copies WILL NOT be accepted (No Exceptions), DO NOT alter this form. You only have 6 lines per statement. Anything over the 6 lines WILL NOT be accepted (DO NOT use the reverse side of this form). Upon completion of this form, please mail it to: HQ AFROTC/RRUC, 551 East Maxwell Boulevard, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112-6106. Faxed copies WILL NOT be accepted.

Deadline for Submission is postmarked no later than 8 January 2011"
