Age Waivers are real!

    "(2) was or is prevented from being admitted to a military service academy before the member reached the maximum age specified in such sections as a result of service on active duty in a theater of operations for Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, or Operation New Dawn."

    The Congressional intent is unclear as to if this is a general waiver or very narrow waiver

    Case 1 - Soldier A completed his Operation Enduring Freedom deployment at age 21, decides to apply at age 23. 2 years after his OEF deployment

    Case 2 - Soldier B is age 22, current deployed for OEF, cannot complete his CFA because his stationed at a very small outpost.
