I applied to AIM and am waiting for a reply

I also received my acceptance to NASS and I have to respond in 2 weeks in order to not lose my spot.

But my dad said I can only attend one or the other.

I want to attend AIM because I heard it gives you a better insight into life at the Academy. But I dont want to risk my spot and end up going to niether of the summer programs.

    What should I do?

Be sure to accept before the deadline as you can always decline later. DS went to both and I do not believe he would agree with your perspective. I remember him saying that both are very cool.

If you prefer Navy, go with NASS. Attend AIM if you are targeting a career in the Coast Guard. It's the branch of service that really matters... not the academy. The academy is part of the journey, not the destination. Can't go wrong with any of the 5.

It was posted on the other AIM thread stating that all response for the AIM program will be mailed out the first week of May.
