Hi, I was looking through the website but could find the info...
Is AIM on a rolling admissions basis or does it not matter how early you complete the application? Thank you!

"When the required items are received, the USCGA Admissions Office will evaluate your application. Each student is evaluated by a team independent of other applicants, thus highlighting each individual’s accomplishments."

-USCGA Website

It appears they are rolling. I think everyone will be notified by mid April of their status. The earlier you get in in, the better. I am applying for AIM as well. I hope we both end up there!

I was wondering about that as well, and then I searched and found this.

AIM decisions are not "rolling" they all come out at the same time.

Wondering if acceptance to AIM is on a rolling basis, or do they wait until after the April 1st deadline to make selections from all applicants?

As Luigi (correct as always) said, we review all AIM applications during the month of April and then release all decisions in May. Unlike some summer programs at the other service academies, there is no advantage to applying early for AIM...all complete applications are reviewed and considered equally whether submitted on 2/1 or 4/1.

We were told at Admissions briefing that if you have your SAT/ACT scores with your application, it really helps

Thanks for the clarification everyone! I will make sure to include test scores.

It does not matter how early you apply...the first and last AIM applications reviewed will be equally/fully considered for acceptance to the program. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis in order of completion, but all decisions are released at the same time in late April or early May.
