Air Fares this year...

Maximus - just wondering if you are being penalized because of WDW. I would think that Thanksgiving and Christmas are 2 of the busiest times there and flying in to Orlando is therefore going to be more expensive then. My Cadet is flying out of Newark - same dates - for half that much to N. Alabama. Just have to wonder if your rates are because of The Mouse!
 
I tried to book out of Newark...they wanted $400 for a one way ticket...LGA was $150; there is no mouse in Atlanta. Your point about Orlando is quite valid; the regular person has to pay the penalty of living in a tourist destination. Once maximus' ds is done at the prep school, he will have many more travel options. For now, it just is what it is...aren't we lucky to have this site to kvetch together?

Yup, it's fun to complain but I do feel blessed to have this little dilemma, things could be much worse and I do understand that there are much more important things going on in the World.

BTW, don't ever think going to WDW on Christmas day will be a fun quiet day...it's their busiest day!
