What would be the expected lag time between when the ALO interview is completed and when the online application shows that it is completed?

I would suspect it depends on how quickly the ALO writes up the interview. It showed up on the application for my DS about a week after the interview. I was surprised.

My son's interview was two weeks ago. When he interviewed with his BGO, it showed up on his USNA application after about three days.

Thanks for the reply.

Hi!

The ALO is assigned a "No Later Than" date for the form 4060 (candidate evaluation) to be submitted to USAFA.

Now...MANY ALO's (including me) will have an "interview" with the candidate. Then we'll go speak to teachers, counselors, school officials, coaches, ministers/rabbi's/priests, etc...etc...to fully round out the candidate "picture."

THEN we will write the evaluation.

Don't be concerned with when the evaluation shows up on the system. The ALO is NOT going to let his/her evaluation go "late" as we catch a LOT of grief if we do...

BUT...if the candidate has not COMPLETELY finished their parts...then we are under no obligation to try to meet deadlines (well, not precisely correct, we normally will "slip" the due date)...as it won't matter. Until the candidate has completed their package, our evaluation doesn't play.

Yea, I had my interview on August 21st and the online application didn't show that it was completed until this week. But in no way is my ALO incompetent - he always seems really busy.
I really like my ALO - he's really cool.
