Hello all,
I am in my junior year in a Co-Op (homeschool) high school. I am holding a 3.75 GPA and will hopefully like to get that up to a 3.8 or 4.0. I would love to go to the USAFA and study Cyber Science as my degree and am passionate about commissioning and becoming an officer in the USAF. Things I am doing include: the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), Soccer, a program called Cyber Patriot through CAP, qualified as a Ground Team Member for search and rescue missions (GTM3) also through CAP, I have swum 4 years competitively in the past (not anymore because of health reasons), I currently hold the CompTIA A+ Certification and Cisco CCNA certification (Professional IT Certifications), and am apart of a National Honor Society called Senior Beta Club. I am soon to take the PSAT, SAT, and ACT so those scores are TBD.
**Edit: I am fairly comfortable with the CFA as I workout every day and am proficient in running (~6.12minutes/mile)**
From my transcript thus far, am I a competitive candidate? If not, what are some pointers that will hopefully help me get into this "more-than-just-a-college".
Thank you for your precious time. I hope to hear back soon,
'Tech.
