Interesting.... that makes me believe that they haven't gotten around to our district at all or you are being considered for another program to be fair I only have a presidential nomination to USNA however Andy Harris gave me one to USAFA. I'm the only kid from my high school who applied to an SA, and the wait is killing me! Have you heard of appointments from our district?

@Pineapples11 People got denied from MD-01 but not accepted that I know of. I really don't think they got to our district yet. I'm too competitive for Foundations or NAPS but my BGO asked Admissions to consider me based on my special circumstance

Wow that's awesome! And also interesting I didn't know people have been denied. also that's what I'm afraid of, that my scores are too competitive to be considered for those programs but not competitive enough to make the cut, did you see people from our region get denied on the forums or do you know them personally?

It's worrying me that they're gonna be like, sorry you would've gotten in if you got a nom and you're too good for prep. Maybe next year..

I know them personally which I guess I should just keep waiting for CPR to change!

Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think there's such thing as "too competitive for Foundations or NAPS." If the Admissions Office determines they want you at the Academy but unfortunately the spots are filled in the proceeding class that year, they will offer you Foundations or NAPS. Despite a number of these cases being a result of very mild academic performance problems, a squad leader at NASS '16 told me not ALL Napsters need a slight boost academically.
