I am sorry if I came off with this post with a bad attitude. I didn't mean to portray that. I am not trying to meet the bare minimums, and like I said before, I do appreciate all the help that I have gotten from my MALO. He has assisited me in a lot in this process. I think that I am just stressed with applying to colleges and waiting to hear, so once again, sorry if the original post sounded rude, its not what I intended.
What I meant to say is that everytime I have communicated with my MALO, he tells me to take my SATs, everytime. And he doesn't even know my scores offhand as he makes this recommendation (not that I expect him to, just that my file is not in front of him when he tells me this). I think he recommends this to everyone of his candidates all the time. Its just not feasible on my part to pay to take them in addition to the late fee, on top of my winter sports. I am mostly satisfied with my scores, minus the critical reading part. I have tried really hard to get that up, even with an SAT class and practicing in collegeboards SAT book. Don't get me wrong, I am not giving up. I know that taking the SATs several times does not hurt, so his suggestion is valuable to retake it for if you improve by a few points.
So I guess back to my main point, is it worth that I pay the late fee to take them again? If so I will end up missing an indoor cup soccer tournament. Are my scores decent enough at this point? And if I am qualified for Navy, scholastically, then do I have a good chance to be qualified for Army academically?
Bobby J- your MALO is your local liasion officer who assists you in the application process. Since it is local, there are several for New Mexico, and your person is listed on your candidate portal.
