Any ideas as to what my RC meant?

I was sent an email today from my RC. It said "You are on my USMAPS list."

What does that mean?
Did I get an offer to USMAPS?
Did I not get a WP appointment?
When will I know what that means?

That was frustrating!!!

RC told us it means he is on the short list if there is no direct appointment. Again, a little more confusing, but settling. Not sure what a short list it though.
