Any rumors on Cadet BRANCHING timeframe?

I think CC didn't push the big red button till this morning, final revisions are in and the guys and gals will learn shorty.

I think that's almost worse, knowing they have the results but are just holding them for another day. Good luck to your son.
 
Results are definitely in. My son just got out of his meeting and received his branching info.
 
Sorry, I've been busy the past hour. Results are most definitely OUT. I was selected for Active Duty Field Artillery. I can try and get some stats later, I just know there were a little over 3,000 making AD. Lot's of combat arms branches coming from my school, most without any type of branch detail.
 
I guess I should have mentioned.

My son got AD Ordinance.

It was the 3rd choice he had listed but really didn't have strong preferences. He is just as happy with this as he would have been with his first choice.
 
My son has just texted; he has achieved a slot on the AD list. His number two is FA, this has also been granted, so an all-round happy day. As the sun sets on his college and ROTC days the sun will rise on a young man embarking on a career in a new world, we wish him the very best.

DS just called - he got his first choice - AD Infantry! He said he feels like he is just floating! And it's his birthday!

Happy Birthday, DS - we're proud of you!
 
Air Defense Artillery. My first choice by way. I have to wait until later to find out our results though. :frown:
