Anybody heard about NROTC decisions today ?

DS applying for 4 year NROTC scholarship . As far as we can tell , everything has been long completed . He’s been accepted to his top choice schools, and we are anxiously awaiting any news …..

Recommendation here is for your DS to check his portal to confirm all needed documentation is received. Too important to not be sure. In prior years decisions were sent out throughout April, though there seemed to be one specific date in later April when a bunch of Nos went out, too. Hang in there, continue to line up backup plans should the scholarship not come through, Learn about college programmer options if their goal is to serve. Good luck.

My portal for NROTC completely changed today. My application disappeared completely and now it is asking me to start a new one for 2025. I'm guessing it means I didn't receive a scholarship this year. Make sure to check your portal today.
 
My DS was notified about his NROTC-MO scholarship at school last week with the big check, but we are waiting for an official verification letter. His portal changed today, to say that the placement office has received his application, but it still says, "No decision has been made."

This happened last year. Try a new link to check your status, and your portal should be like it was. You will receive a email/change in portal about your application. Either awarded or declined. Still might be a few weeks before you have a final resolution.

Hang in there. It’s a tough process and I’m sure if you are persistent unwell pay off . Things have a way of working out in the end.

Same. Thinking in another 2-3 days a portal update should show “ congrats” with school placement

Congrats!
When my DS got that message we thought he didn't get the scholarship and was just pushed to the next board. Turns out they are just figuring out what school to officially award it to.
 
DS is also still pending and has reached out to his coordinator but radio silence.

Coordinator will not have a update. They just make sure the application is correct in the beginning of the process, then they push the app up the ladder. The last boards do not end until end of April, so your DS still has a chance until he receives a decline email/portal update.
 
My DS's portal shows "No Decision has been made" as of this morning. No other changes to the portal yet.
