From my understanding, USNA does not weigh AP Stats as a "strong" math class.

I took AP Stats and Trig/Precalc Junior year. My AP Stats teacher knows me much better than my Trig teacher, and therefore could write a better Evaluation I believe.

Because of USNAs view on AP Stats is it better to get the Eval from my AP Stats teacher or Trig teacher?

    Thanks,
    J

I always let my classmates who took AP Stat know that it wasn't a "pure" math compared to Calc BC. :shake:

But I'm sure it's the recommendation that matters, not so much whether it's a "strong" math course. If there's any doubt, contact the regional coordinator, but I'm sure Stat would still be counted as a math for the evaluation.

Trig/PreCalc recommendation is the preferred and what you should submit.
