    Hello,
At my school today, we started registration for the AP tests. During my AP world history class, my teacher had went over several pros and cons about the test; and why we should or shouldn't take it.

My question is, does the Academy accept AP credits? Is it worth me taking the test?

In MY personal view, I believe i should take it, just based on the points that i want to see what the AP tests look like for the future, i know that i am a good test taker, and i want to challenge myself.

But if i do bad on the test, could it hurt my chances on getting in to the Academy?

Any thoughts would be helpful, and Thank You!

Take the AP tests. The academy doesn't look at AP scores in the admissions process, but it would always look good to the other universities you'd be applying to.

And I think you could validate a history class if you get a 5 on the exam. Souce: http://academyadmissions.com/#Page/Curriculum
