application and attending other summer programs

    Does it look favorable to include in your application as far as activities that you attended another academy's summer program. Or would it not carry any weight?

    I'd mention it. What could it hurt? It shows that you are interested in entering military service.

    The academies love stealing good candidates away from their competition! :smile:

    Actually, from an Admissions perspective, you get the same "bump" from attending another SA program as from attending NASS, which relates to having some experience with what a SA is about.

    What you don't get is the small bump or negative bump for doing well/poorly at NASS, since USNA won't see how you did at another SA's program.
