He got his BFE on January 31st, so it was a little over 2 weeks from phone call to mail. The letter showed up in the portal on 24th, so a week before the mail. There was a button to accept prior to the letter in the portal, I believe.

There really is not one. There is a gap the week of Spring Break--the admissions committee does not meet. It really starts to taper off in early April--but there will be a day when a ton of TWEs are sent out...but if you do no have one, you are still in the mix.When is the next "wave"?

Yes, Blue Chip is a thing at USMA. My cadet was blue chipped at both USAFA and USMA. The coach clearly made a point to tell us they were blue chipped. Our cadet's appointments came in around the end of March. I personally believe a coach does have a say, as long as your cadet is a strong candidate.
