You can take it twice. I took it twice, and the first time I did horrible. I mean horrible. I went and talked to my math teacher, and took my time with it the second time, and did a lot better. I guess for my major, aerospace engineering, you're supposed to be in calculus for engineers freshman year, however I missed it by 3 points. So I have to take a precalculus class freshman year. I have to makeup a math class later on, either taking it over the summer, online, or possibly in place of an elective course during my junior or senior year. So I will be a math class behind everyone else I guess, but my academic advisor said not to worry. The math placement itself is very hard, and you actually have to make graphs. It took me 5 hours to take, no joke. But I took my time on every problem. I had to look some stuff up online too and I used a calculator. Take your time with it, and you should be ok. I am currently in Functions, Stats, and trigonometry in HS. It's all one class at my school, and it's the class below my HS's precalc class. So scoring a precalc on the placement test is right where I should be, I suppose.
