Army ROTC Notification

I applied for an Army ROTC scholarship by the first board. My application says boarded, and I was wondering if at this point that meant I did not receive a scholarship this round. The PMS and the ROO at the school I interviewed with told me I was a competitive file. People I know from past years were notified by early November, so should I assume it's a no?

Looks like it's a No for the first board....only a couple of hundred of offers given (ultimately about 2500 offers will go out). Sit tight, enjoy your senior year, keep working on Plan B, C, D. Next offers will probably go out during the first 2 weeks of Feb.

The PMS at my son's first choice school told him that if he receives a round two scholarship he should hear NLT 14 Feb. For the first round we were told NLT 11 November and the results came out a couple days prior to that.

Ugh...my DD has been in the "Boarded" status for 5 wks now...fingers crossed for round 2. Anyone post their stats?

All notifications went out 2 weeks ago
I understood this to be true as well. However, my DS received notification of winning a 4 yr scholarship yesterday. Although the letter was dated 11/23, which is two weeks after the first board letters went out. We weren't checking his dashboard anymore since we thought the first board results were long past being posted. He was about to send in a new and improved ACT score, as well as other information, in preperation to meet Jan's board. I'm a bit baffled by this. Perhaps some sort of oversight during the normal first board notification process?

the lag between post and actual letter sounds normal.
you must accept by the date indicated on the letter.
