Hey all, does anyone know if the scholarship decisions come out at the same time, or roughly same time, or is it unique for each applicant?

The decisions will come out in waves. It could be over several days. Not all at once.

Very good question, and I am sure someone on this forum will give some insight. I think the decisions come out over the next couple of weeks for winners in this board. When my DD won, she found out on the last day of the board (2nd board 2017).
 
I’ve always been confused reading this forum as there isn’t a universal portal response just “trickery”. The schools will get the list and have a day to provide feedback (honestly not sure what we are looking for) and then we are told we can contact winners. Of course in those 24hrs some schools notify winners in the hope they will switch schools to their school since they notified the winners. Every board the portal seems to be haywire then change to winner.

Best insight I have seen so far, but I have not read through the years of forum responses. It makes total sense!

What day does the school get the list? Friday at the conclusion of the board?

My son listed seven schools. Do all seven schools know that he listed them? And if he were to get a scholarship, presumably only the schools to which the scholarships are awarded are informed but not all 7? Sorry if silly question.

All 7 know he put their school down. The spreadsheet sent out is only for the schools the scholarship is awarded to. With minimal data mining the other schools can figure it out.

Thank you for the information. A teeny (ok more than that) bit disappointed that only two schools have had any sort of out reach to him and minimal at that. Whatever happens, a great experience for him to grow and learn through.

One thing to keep in mind is that the staff and cadre at these schools also have a full time job overseeing the existing group of cadets and everything that goes along with that. Your son/daughter that is pursuing a scholarship is at the bottom of the priority list in terms of time now. This is even more so this year with the circumstances we are in with COVID.

Don't get disappointed, be thankful that your DS is one of thousands of other kids that are going through the same thing. Exciting Times!
 
I'm having trouble accessing my account is anyone else. I've tried multiple times, it lets me to the home page but when I try to login it's says error.
 
Your statuses may fluctuate between Boarded --> B/ UC --> Boarded again and I would not put too much stock into those moves. This happened for my DS as he was considered in board 1, then again considered and awarded a 4 year in board 2. Hang in there y'all and if I can suggest, try not to read too much into the changes. A lot of candidates do not hear a final decision until April. I do agree as others stated above that the school list being locked seems to be a strong indicator that a decision may be coming in the next day or two if not sooner.
