AROTC Scholarship now need waiver

We don't know what do do. My son just receive a 4 year AROTC scholarship, but he has to be medically qualified. I am not sure what do to now. I have a feeling he will never be qualified due to hearing loss in his right ear. I am sickened that he will loose this scholarship. I am not sure what to do at this point to try and get the waiver. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry I don't have any advice really but I know the feeling. I got a LOA to USMMA and then it got repealed because there is pretty much no way I'll get medically qualified. I guess i do have a little advice and thats Have lots of back ups that's for sure. I'm really sorry to hear about that though :(
