I would also add, that knowing the historical data for your school selections, may give you a positive feeling or a negative feeling, but you are missing a portion of the equation. Last years pool of applicants may be different than this years pool.
Additionally, due to sequestration and personnel cuts, they may change how many scholarships are awarded or the type. For example, maybe this year they will give out more three year than compared to previous years due to budget constraints.
Finally, just knowing the stats of their academic record, and ECS misses 25% of the points. The PMS interview. There could be a recipient that got max points out of the interview while having the exact same stats as you, but you OTOH got 275.
~ Compile this with you are OOS and they are IS can mean the difference in results for a scholarship to that school.
