On the AF page a thread on "USAFA application" has evolved / devolved into a discussion on the experience of inter-collegiate athletes as compared to non-inter collegiate athletes. For example, some asserting that the athletes get breaks on the tough stuff endured by the rest of their company/ classmates (and the resentment that may create). Others assert that athletes have other, compensating obligations and that it all works out.
It seems to be a 'rub' for some at the AFA.
I'm wondering if that tension between athletes and others is strong at Navy (or any of the other academies)? I suppose it may be different between Div 1 academies and Div 3 academies, too.
