gavigane14, there have been many threads about this topic in the Prep School section. Recommend you take a look at old threads down there and then see if you have further questions. I know there was a thread about a month ago asking these exact questions regarding what NAPS and indoc are like. Also, when you say visit home, that answer will vary. How far is home from Newport? If it is on the west coast, my guess is Thanksgiving will be your first chance. If you live in NY, then maybe a long weekend. Not sure on the current NAPS rules regarding overnights and distance, someone attending this year will have to chime in. Everything also depends on you being in good academic, conduct and physical standing.
